downsizing made simple

Karen Lievense, owner of downsizing made simple, provides safe, reliable and personal support to our elders (and their families) when making the major transition of moving into one of Santa Fe’s many stellar assisted or independent living communities.

Services include pre-move editing of possessions, creation of new apartment furniture, lighting and art placement plans, selecting the mover and organizing the move, overseeing the careful packing of valuables, and installation of furnishings and art….within 48 hours of the moving van leaving, our Client begins to feel truly at home. Karen can also stage your home for sale after relocating to your new apartment.

We often collaborate with Lawrence Herman, of Accessible Housing Solutions, to provide safe living-in-place systems that are both beautiful and functional.
